  • Atlas Orthogonal treatment uses a specialized instrument to gently realign the atlas vertebra. This non-invasive method avoids twisting or cracking, instead applying a controlled percussion force to restore alignment and support better balance and nervous system function.

  • The Activator Method uses a spring-loaded hand-held instrument to deliver quick, low-force impulses to specific areas of the spine or extremities. This precise approach helps restore motion and alignment while remaining gentle and comfortable, without twisting or cracking. It is especially suited for patients who prefer a low-force technique, including older adults, children, and individuals with certain health conditions.

  • At the Head and Neck Center of Hawai‘i, we are committed to delivering the highest level of precision and care. To enhance the accuracy of Atlas Orthogonal treatment, we utilize advanced Cone Beam CT (CBCT) imaging, which provides three-dimensional, high-resolution views of the head and neck. This technology allows us to evaluate the atlas vertebra and surrounding structures in exceptional detail, ensuring the most precise analysis and alignment possible. By combining CBCT imaging with the Atlas Orthogonal technique, we offer safe, gentle, and highly effective care tailored to each patient’s unique anatomy.
